Happy Easter!
It is very hard for me to come to terms with the year being nearly 1/3 over, where did the time go?
In just a few days we will be heading south for the first Quiltfest Greenville show in South Carolina. I think there is still time to sign up for classes. Hope to see you there. quiltfest.com
Almost immediately after I left for the shows in Lakeland and Atlanta boxes and boxes of fabric arrived. This means we will have a lot of new prints in Greenville.
I can't put even 1/10 on here so you must check out the web site.
Here is a taste of what is new. This is the latest motorcycle panel from Quilting Treasures. Ride Free. Two blocks that are about 22" by 18" A great start for a quilt.
If you have ever had a cat you will appreciate the sentiments in this panel from Wilmington Prints. Purrfect Partners. Four 11 1/2" squares and four 8 1/2" squares. The pillows are from the larger blocks. The smaller I have used for a pocket on a tote.
Our newest Music line is Perfect Pitch from Michael Miller Fabrics. There are two panels and a whole lot of coordinates. The second panel called Ensemble has eight blocks with instruments.
The final print I will show here is the newest Halloween panel from Benartex. This is just the first Halloween panel to arrive but I know in the next few days J Wicker Frisch's should be arriving. This one has glow in the dark webs as coordinates.
I am not exaggerating when I say we received over a hundred bolts of fabric--did I really order all this?!? The shipping backlog must be working out of the system as we now have all the fabrics we ordered for this spring. I just didn't think they would all arrive in the same two weeks.
Have a very Happy Easter and
Happy Quilting,
Marilyn
