Many many years ago I remember 'pulling an all nighter' with my Mother and some neighbors waiting for her Night Blooming Ceres to burst forth in bloom.  I  believe this is a descendant of that plant.  After I missed two blossoms earlier this summer I was determined to see this one through.  At 3 a.m. I was rewarded-- has to be one of the most aromatic flowers ever!  Now the sprawling plant can go back to 'sleep'.

November will find us at two different Original Sewing and Quilt Expos.    Novi, MI and

Nashville, TN.  This will be our first trip to that part of the country so please stop by and say HI!

It seems My Ship Has Come In--at least we received a lot of new fabrics after having received none for weeks.  I am assuming the ship the fabric was on has docked and been unloaded!

First print is from Imaginings from Robert Kaufman, one design is an aerial view of farm fields, others are roses, packed flowers, and seashells.

Sew Little Time is from Wilmington Prints.  This panel has coordinates of tossed spools of thread and another of tossed sewing supplies  both are in cream or navy ground.

Northcott has an oversized Iris Panel.  It measures 43" square.  There is also a stripe coordinate and one with petals.

Every year Wilmington Prints has a new Christmas Cardinal Print.   This one is so nice!  Season of Heart from Susan Winget.  It coordinates well with their previous Cardinal panels.

Northcott has a Serenity Prayer for seamstresses.  This panel is 24" by 43"

Northcott also has a new collection of Itsy Bitsy prints.   These are yard repeats in three by three sections of different coordinating fabrics.   At the last show I was at someone suggested they could be used in a disappearing nine patch for a really fast quilt.  Each design is 12" by 14 1/2".  We have four 'collections'.  The unicorns, Golf, Americana, and science.

If I had completed this note earlier as I had planned I wouldn't have been able to add this new tote panel from Northcott.   If you are planning a trip south you will need this and if you aren't you will want it anyway!  Flamingo Bay Tote panel, Barcode Stripe, and Tossed Flamingos.  Hopefully tomorrow I can get one made up.

We received so many new prints I can't put them all on here but please be sure to check them out on our web site.

Please stop by in Novi or Nashville if you get a chance.  Soon we will be immersed in Christmas preparations so enjoy the shows when you can.   Suddenly it is cold enough to think about Christmas.

Happy Quilting,
