You know you live in Pennsylvania when you start the day in a flannel shirt and sweat shirt, then by 10:00 the sweat shirt is gone and by noon it is just a T-shirt.   Then reversing the process until you are back in the flannel shirt and sweat shirt by night time.  According to my nephew this will not be a problem by the end of the week. He tells me we will have to dig out the gloves and scarves.


The science fair fabric from Robert Kaufman is finally back in stock.  It's great to have a fabric that celebrates Mathematics.  (And those other sciences too--but we all know Mathematics is the queen of science.)

The last show of this year was this past weekend and now it is time to get back to some new ............

This week has been very busy with so much new fabric arriving.

With the exception of the weekend of October 25 and the first full week of January we will be at the shop for regular hours:  Wednesday thru Friday  Noon to 5:00 and Saturday 10:  to 4:00.   If you plan on being in the area at another time please don't hesitate to call so I can meet you there.

Three weeks ago, while at the Pennsylvania National Quilt Expo I bought a new sewing machine--nothing fancy but much heavier than Mom's.  Something I needed to make the denim bags and bears so I wouldn't destroy Mom's.  Just yesterday I finally got to use it!    


A customer and I worked on this design at the same PA National Show so now I might be caught up to last month--only because the projects I had on my to do list before that were pushed farther down the list.  I am sure none of you have any idea how that goes!?!?!  Guess that is why our UFO pile keeps increasing even though we sew every chance we get.
