This newsletter has absolutely no theme. A complete
eclectic collection of random thoughts. Enjoy it and thanks

It's finished! The 'Autumn Leaves' Quilt I have been
promising to finish since the Kutztown Festival last July
is finally finished--almost. I still have to applique the
stems on the leaves, but the pattern is finished, and the
stems ready for applique. Now if I can just stop making
baby booties and do some applique---

We just received some great fabric from Michael Miller
Fabrics; their 'Fun with Dick and Jane' collection. Wow,
does this bring back memories. The colors and fabric are
the usual Michael Miller standard.

Our exclusive "Quilter's Candy" apothocary jars have
arrived. A great gift that can be filled with
candy(chocolate) or four fat quarters--real quilter's
candy!

This month our quilting stencils will be 10% off. Use the
discount code AWS430 for any order that includes a stencil.

Just a reminder, we will be at the Kutztown Festival in
July. This is a great family vacation day. The quilt
auction is held on the last Saturday, last year the top
quilt sold for about $3,200, a big drop from the $15,000 in
2005 and the $8,000 in 2004, but fun to watch. The top
prize quilts are so beautiful. They are on display all
week in 'quilt barn'along with about 2000 more that are for
sale. All quilts entered must be sold and the prices are
very reasonable. If you are interested in entering a quilt
or wall hanging visit the Kutztown Festival Web site for
information. As this is a family festival there is lots
for the kids to do and of course great food. Check out
their web site www.kutztownfestival.com for discount
coupons, directions, hours, and anything else you may want
to know.

This issue of the 'Kraft food and family' magazine has a
great cookie recipe, it quickly became my kid's favorite

dab or icing. made it look a little -no a lot- like
Christmas, but that's ok.
