Trial Run

January 11, 2007

Imagine my surprise when I logged onto this page and
actually found people who signed up for my
newsletter--probably early last year!

This is a trial run with a promise to be more regular in
the future.

First let me say Happy New Year and I hope you are
successful with those resolutions. I make the same one
every year, to finish some UFO's before I start some other
project. Fortunately I come to my senses quickly,
unfortunately the years go by so with such speed the stack
of 'to dos' is so much larger than the stack of 'dones'.

We will announce specials through this newsletter and if I
can figure it out I hope to start a birthday club.

We will be listing our miniature sewing furniture and
accessories on the web site soon as well as once again
putting up the stencil page with some great stencils for
whole cloth quilts or for blocks and borders. Early next
month we should have our newest item, an apothocary jar
just large enough for about 4 fat quarters. The jar will
have 'Quilter's Candy' embossed in blue on the front.

Late next month we will be in New Jersey for the Quilt Fest
of New Jersey. This show is managed by the same company
that manages Pennsylvania National Quilt Show that
previously was held in Fort Washington and is actually held
from March 1st to the 4th. If you are in the area stop in
and say Hey! You can get more information on this show by
going to www.quiltfest.com . I wish I could link that for
you but that is a project for another day. You can find
the link on our 'Shows for 2007' and 'Links' pages.

Watch for more updates and I will try very hard to be more
regular in writing this newsletter and in trying to make it
much more interesting. Again, Happy New Year and happy
quilting.
