These 1-1/2" x 1-1/4" ovals are mounted on a set of magnets so you can temporarily and easily attach the minder to a piece of fabric. They keep your needles from wondering off. Mine definitely need something like this to keep them from disappearing when I am not looking. The designs remind me of the cameo jewelery my grandmother made for me. (The green background on the Lily of the Valley is much brighter than shown.)
