This appliqued eagle is surrounded by a pieced border. The stars are appliqed in the corners of the border. The applique is hand done but the borders can all be easily completed by machine. The stems on the olive branches and the feet of the eagle are both embroidered. The finished quilt is approximately 36" square. Two dollars from each pattern sale is donated to the township World War II Memorial Fund. A fund set up in 2001 to maintain the memorial that was restored as a boy scout Eagle Project.
